When Browneyes Go Bad

When proper procedure is not followed, errors and injury can ensue.

An example of when the photographer is too late with taking the photo

Too Late: Poor communication and preparation lead to this photo being taken too late as the pants are already up. The focus was not locked before the pants drop occurred so the camera was slow. This is very unfortunate given the difficulty of this browneye due to large crowds.

An example of a blurry browneye photograph

The same shot taken by a second camera man from behind the grassy knoll. Note that although the second cameraman was faster, he did not compose the shot properly and hence the browneye is obscured and the shot is out of focus. This could have been an awesome photo.

An example of an upside down browneye

Sometimes liberties can be taken with pose, but this shot although very funny, shows disregard for safety, quick get away and artistic value.

An example of a browneye where the underwear has interfered with the pose

Underwear: Although comfortable when tight, it can be cumbersome to pull down quickly, and it is recommended to not wear underwear when speed is of the essence.

An example of a browneye when the arse has not been prepared properly

Anal preparation is important so all tissue paper and fecal material should be removed before browneyeing.

An example of interference from other people in the photo

Poor group support has lead to this browneye at my 10 year reunion being upstaged by Frank’s finger …although he has shown impeccable finger placement.

An example of a browneye through a sunroof at drive through take away

Although it is commendable to browneye from a sunroof at a drive through fast food place, the picture almost fails as the butt barely comes into view. Better preparation could have included wearing higher heels to get higher, or bending further over.

Injuries

A scan of my lumbar problems An xray of my lumbar problems

Abdominal stabiliser exercises and back and hamstring flexibility is important to avoid injuries. I have a L5/S1 disc prolapse due to poor back condition as seen on my CT scan on the left. Spondylolithesis or slippage of one or more vertebra can also occur.
