Rano Raraku, Easter Island (Rapa Nui), 1998
Easter Island ROCKS!!! I have been fascinated with this place since the "In Search Of" shows in the 70s. These are the most famous of the Moai (statues) at Rano Raraku, an extinct volcano on the east of the island where the moai were carved. Over 600 moai are scattered around it base.
