Giant's Causeway, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, 1998

These basalt hexagonal columns were formed by crystallized lava and extend under the Atlantic Ocean to the Scottish shoreline. Legend has it that they were created as stepping stones by a giant called Finn McCool to reach a lady giant on a Scottish Island. How McCool is that??!!!!
